How To Add PayPal Donate Button in WordPress

Hey newbie, It’s not too tough to add a Paypal donation button in WordPress. Here in this guide we gonna deal not with any coding skills. All we do is just install a plugin and start to configure it.

Now go ahead to your WordPress dashboard and there just click on plugins -> add new. Now just search for PayPal Donations plugin. Install and activate it.

Once you do that, go to Settings -> PayPal Donations and you will see its configuration page. You can clearly see the field to add your PayPal account email address.

You can also add your Secure Merchant ID.

If you have created any custom page in your official PayPal account then you can fill it. It’s optional so if don’t have any idea then leave it blank.

If you scroll more, you will see a few other fields where you can set an amount you want others to donate. Suppose you add $20 then it will get added by default whenever someone would donate.

Now with the reference, you can choose the specific style which you need to move with.

Then just go to appearance -> widgets, In there you can find a widget with the name “PayPal Donations”. Just add it to the specific area where you want to place it. You can even add this widget to you WordPress posts or pages with a shortcode too.
